Meet Don Syno
INTRODUCTION
Don Syno is an independent artist, producer, filmmaker and creative force defining his own interpretation of Afro-Trap.
Born in Lagos, Nigeria and raised in South Africa, his identity exists between cultures, cities and musical traditions. That intersection became the foundation of his sound.
His music combines the aggression, rhythm and attitude of trap with African melodies, percussion, languages, movement and cultural identity.
But Don Syno’s ambition extends beyond making songs.
He is building a world around Afro-Trap.
A world where African identity is not an ingredient added to global music — but a driving force shaping what global music can become.

Don Syno is an artist from the African diaspora whose sound is shaped by two major cultural environments: West Africa and Southern Africa.
Lagos gave him an African foundation.
South Africa shaped his perspective.
Trap gave him an attitude.
Music gave him a language.
